Coach Cardinal Gibbons Robotics Team that won the Inspire award and went to the World FIRST Tech Challenge Championship in 2011. Team 2901 - The Purple Gears - from Cardinal Gibbons High School - for winning the Inspire Award at the North Carolina FIRST Tech Challenge 2011 Aggieland Championship and making it to the World Championship in St. Louis. Along the way, the kids also managed to submit a US Patent for their Folding Forklift design. Two former team members are now at Carnegie Mellon, one is at Georgia Tech and another at North Carolina State.
Coach for Cardinal Gibbons Science Olympiad team for 5 years during which time the teams have taken medals at every regional and state competition.
Disassembled Timex Datalink Watch software and created a complete development kit for writing Wristapps to download to the watch. Maintained a web site (www.geocities.com/ResearchTriangle/7650) of development tutorials (over 160 pages when combined into a single word document).
